Member deposit accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration. A member’s deposits held in multiple credit union divisions of Self-Help Credit Union may not be considered insured as separate accounts. Therefore, the maximum allowable legal limit of deposit insurance coverage may be applied to all such accounts combined.
