Choice Community Credit Union is committed to protecting your privacy.  We recognize the importance of protecting your personal account information and our obligation to keep the information secure and confidential.

Our policy is to gather only the information you give us or authorize us to collect for the credit union services you request.  These services include loan applications, Choice ONLINE services, various account applications, service request forms and more.  We gather only information that is necessary to process your request and we maintain the information in the strictest of confidence.

We will share information regarding you with third parties only when:

(a)    you have authorized the sharing of information by giving us written permission.

(b)    we have previously disclosed to you that we will share the information

(c)     we are required by law to share the information

(d)    when we have entered into an agreement with a third party for support services (in which the third party will also agree to maintain the confidentiality of our members information).

(e)     When it is necessary for completing authorized transactions.

(f)      In order to verify the status of your account for an authorized third party (such as the credit bureau).         

(g)    The information Choice Community Credit Union provides to credit reporting agencies is protected by federal law and its use is strictly governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Access to your personal account(s) information by employees will be reasonably limited to those employees that have a business reason for such access.  Employees that do not follow these guidelines will be subject to our normal disciplinary procedures.

We maintain physical, electronic, and administrative controls that comply with federal regulations and leading industry practices to safeguard your nonpublic personal information.
                                                                                                        
If you terminate your membership with Choice, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as you authorize or required

     Use caution when disclosing your social security &
       account numbers to other persons,
     Keep your information current with us.  It’s important we
       know how to reach you.
